Then sign up for the Katy Challenge.

What is the Katy Challenge?

A game played via video conferencing pitting a class at one campus against a class at another campus. This is a game that focuses on class discussion to determine the correct answer. The teacher has input and  access to the answers , so there are no losers.

Can you see the game and the instructions before you play?

Of course! Go to R:\Junior High\Social Studies\Grade 8\Teacher\TAKS Preparation\I Have - Who Has Game to see the instructions and the game. The game is in the power point format so every other slide shows the answer.

Where do you get the answer cards for the game?

Each campus will receive a one set of laminated game cards. If a campus wants more game cards, the campus can order them from the print shop. They are available from the digital store front.

Can’t you just play the game with another class on your campus or even within your class?

Sure, but why not make it more engaging? Kids love seeing themselves on TV. You may cause that kid who never cares about school to pay attention and participate because of the novelty of being on TV and playing another school.
